RECRUITMENT
We have grown...significantly. We started with 5 boys and now have nearly 60. As such, Troop 280 is not actively recruiting at this time. We will welcome new members as transfers due to moving or relocation.
Boys from 11-17 are eligible to join Scouts.. Unlike Cub Scouts, a Boy Scout advances at their own rate of speed. Participating in summer camp and other outside Troop activities determines the time for advancement. in our Troop, we also understand that kids have many competing interests, and may take a "time out" for a few months for sports.
